He undertook various post graduate positions within UK Dental Hospitals during the next 6 years, and was awarded Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in Dental Surgery in 1992, and a Masters with Distinction in Restorative Dentistry from Newcastle Dental Hospital in 1993.

He was awarded Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in Restorative Dentistry in 1994, and is registered as a specialist in Prosthodontics with the General Dental Council.

He currently is a part time clinical lecturer in Restorative dentistry at The Royal London Dental Hospital, and an Examiner for the General Dental Councilís Overseas Registration Examination and acts as an expert witness when required.

He welcomes all anxious or nervous patients, and is able to provide excellent dental care for all patients, working with his dental anesthetist who provides expert monitored sedation when necessary.

Dr Nery is one of very few dentists in the UK to be awarded the advanced level Diploma in Dental Implantology from the Dental faculty of the Royal College of Surgeons. This additional qualification is currently considered to be the gold standard in postgraduate training in implant dentistry.

Although there are many dentists who provide patients with implants, only a few are trained to such a high level.
